Anubis Tattoo is a private custom tattoo studio in Čepin, near Osijek in eastern Croatia. International enquiries and consultations can be handled in English, and every project is planned before a tattoo session is reserved.
This page is for people living outside Croatia, foreign residents in Croatia and clients who need to plan travel around a larger tattoo project. Anubis is not a walk-in production studio. The work is centred on individual projects, large connected compositions, sleeves, colour realism, black and grey and tattoo design developed around the body.
Tattoo projects are led by Zoran Pocrnić — Žvaki, who has worked professionally since Anubis opened in 2004. His work includes colour and black and grey realism, ornamental, geometric and mandala-based approaches, as well as large projects that combine different visual languages when the idea and anatomy require it.
The starting point is not a finished image chosen from a catalogue. The project is developed from the person’s idea, the body area, the smallest important detail, the minimum workable size and the way the composition needs to move with the body.
You do not need to speak Croatian and you do not need to arrive with a finished design. The initial enquiry, clarification of the idea and the tattoo consultation can be completed in English.
The consultation is used to establish whether the idea is technically workable, what size it requires, where it can function on the body, which visual direction makes sense and whether the project needs one session or a longer plan.
Send enough information for a real assessment rather than only asking for a price. Include:
References are used to communicate direction. They are not copied into a new tattoo.
Large projects often need more than one session. A sleeve, back piece or composition covering several body areas should be planned as one whole even when the work is divided across separate visits.
If you live outside eastern Croatia, mention that at the beginning. The project can then be assessed with travel, recovery time and the realistic sequence of sessions in mind. No promise is made that a large project can be completed within a short holiday.
A tattoo session is booked only after the project has been discussed and confirmed. The consultation itself is free of charge. A deposit secures the agreed tattoo session, not the initial conversation.

A fresh tattoo affects how you should plan swimming, sun exposure, friction, sport and travel. Read the before and after instructions before fixing travel dates, especially if the visit is connected with the coast, swimming pools or an active holiday.
If your itinerary includes a flight, a long drive, the sea, a festival or intensive physical activity, include that information in the enquiry. The tattoo appointment should be planned around the real conditions in which the tattoo will begin healing.
Anubis Tattoo is located at Marina Držića 17, 31431 Čepin, near Osijek, Croatia. The studio works by prior appointment only so the consultation, preparation and tattoo session have the time and privacy they require.
Travel arrangements should be made only after the tattoo date has been confirmed directly with the studio.
Anubis is intended for clients who want an individual tattoo project, are willing to discuss feasibility and accept that size, placement and style must serve the complete tattoo.
It is probably not the right choice for someone looking for the fastest walk-in appointment, several unrelated mini tattoos in one session or a direct copy of another person’s tattoo.
