For a tattoo removal we use the latest generation Q-Switch Nd-Yag laser. What makes him stand out among other lasers is a really short laser impulse time ( measured in nanoseconds), which is a basic precondition for destroying a pigment.

How many treatments are needed to remove a tattoo?

It’s hard to calculate an average number of treatments because they are affected by many factors:

  • Tattoo size
  • Was a tattooo made by an amateur or a professional
  • Pigment type
  • Entry debth
  • Amount of colour
  • Your immune system
  • Colour of your skin

Tattoos are harder to remove if they are made by and amateur, the ones who are remade, multicolour tattoos and the ones made by yellow colour.

The easiest tattoos to remove are black tattoos made with proffesional colour and in aprofessional studio.

What to expect after a treatment?

12829105_1047304525327324_6554943357952183270_oAfter a laser treatment, tattooed area will experience a certain kind of trauma. A natural bodysreaction to trauma is to send white blood cells ( who are your immune system fighters) who surround and attack colour and then pull it out of your body trought bloodstream.

That means that laser breaks colour into small particles so body can reject it.

While you break a pigment, on a tattoo you can see white spots ( which is a sign that you broke a pigment), which retreat after 10 minutes.

After laser treatment comes a recovery period that lasts 3-10 days. During that period you can expect redness, scabs, itch and water bubbles. All that is actually a normal process of healing. It is important not to touch scabs and let the area heal itself.

Water bubbles can appear 8-72 hours after a treatment.
